Job objective:
The Senior Software Engineer on the web backend team will design, develop and maintain software for automotive data acquisition and device-to-cloud communication for use in the automotive industry. You will be challenged to solve problems with cutting-edge technology and deliver the highest quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain software for automotive data acquisition and device-to-cloud communication for use in the automotive industry.
Knowledge required:
- Practical experience with Java 11 or above, OOP, functional programming, and design patterns.
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
- Experience with building Spring based RESTful web services using Spring Core, Spring Boot 2.x or above, and Spring Data.
- Experience with development and deployment of Microservices on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes and Docker Swarm).
Necessary experience:
8+ years professional experience in design, development, and support of Java backend applications.

Basic requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Science / Engineering.
